Further Learning Tab
In addition to the Basic Training, agencies may decide to take learning a step further. This enhances your knowledge base and can further identify you as a leader in low vision and HomeSight services. Additional learning opportunities include:
- HomeSight’s “Train the Trainer” Program. With this training feature, your agency’s selected staff member, over an extended period of time, is allowed on site opportunities to engage with our most seasoned professionals to become your on-site expert.
- Best Practice Center of Excellence. This exciting program gives your entire agency the opportunity to be deemed a HomeSight Center of Excellence allowing you to become a training site and a model example for other agencies to follow. You become our consultant and are paid to provide training to other agencies.
- On Demand Training. This is an additional consultative option training option available for training needs that arise requiring HomeSight’s immediate assistance. We make ourselves available to you for on-site training for any of our services you require.
Continuing Education.Throughout your agreement with HomeSight, you are notified of upcoming opportunities to participate in any continuing education programs we offer. These are closed opportunities not available to the general public. At these events we provide you with up to date treatment techniques for clinical staff, documentation seminars, and other topics such as caring for low vision patients with complicated disease processes such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes among others.
- Enhanced Marketing Assistance. HomeSight’s staff are available for on-site assistance to provide direct field marketing to current or potential referral sources while providing one-on-one staff training. Additional marketing products are available for “communicating the message’ such as brochures, informational DVD’s, physician reference letters.
